Which are the actual cores' temperatures?

To calibrate the CPU (Pentium E5200) and mobo (ASRock 4coreDual-Sata2 R2.0) temperatures, I regarded the values in the bios as true. I compared a number of readings from the bios and SpeedFan to calculate SpeedFan's average offset.

Now I'd like to read true core temperatures in SpeedFan, but I don't know how to calibrate them. My bios doesn't show core temperatures and different monitoring programs display different temperatures: http://img101.imageshack.us/im.../3249/coretempsyq6.jpg I used two instances of Memtest for quite a while for the load temperature.

Can I regard on of these programs as the most representative for the actual temperature or is there another way to calibrate the software? If only one program monitors the right temperatures, I can use it to set SpeedFan's offset. Thanks for any suggestions!
