Which apps and games are you using on Windows Phone 7?

I have seen this thread for Android and the Jesus Phone, but not WP7. So the title says it all. I'm playing Carnyvale (average) and Fruit Ninja (awesome). I have an ok Flickr app called Flickr Manager, a great Google Reader app called Flux and the Microsoft Facebook app which is pretty good.

Obviously DeekFit Gym is the must have app...

Game-wise, I like Flight Control, Swipy Guy, Text Text Revolution. Other apps, outside of the standard stuff like Facebook and AP Mobile, I use Fim, Seesmic, and Metro Web Browser pretty often.

Games:
Max and the Magic Marker
IloMilo
Sudoku
Crosswords

Other:
People Hub for facebook (I like that I only get status updates)
Twitter
RealTube for YouTube, but the search is crummy
SimpiRSS, but it doesn't sync state with Google Reader, does Flux?

At this point I am still waiting on Pandora, a browser that tells wikipedia that it is mobile, and a better ecosystem. I am incredibly peeved that Microsoft wants me to pay them $25/month so I can listen to my Zune music on the 360 ($15/mo Zune, $10/mo Live Gold).

I use the maps program a lot. Smartrunner for logging my run distance\time\tracks. SBARG is a pretty sweet tower defense game (though you lose your progress if the phone locks, so I've only ever beaten one level.) Oregon Trail HD is ok. I never really spend much time playing phone games, so I don't get very far.

Chrome to WP7 is cool for sending web pages easily to my phone from my desktop.

How about an Audible app already?

Uh, Live Gold should come out around $45-50/year. Not at all $10/mo.

When I had first looked it up after going through the process of putting my live account onto the 360 the prices I saw were $50-60 for 1 year, or $10/mo. I didn't think about the possibility of a gift card. I don't game on the 360 at all, and wouldn't use it for music all that much probably, but I appreciate the heads up on the price.

For games I like the harvest a lot, its a really fun diablo style action RPG. I also have rocket riot, ilomilo, fruit ninjaa puzzle quest 2 and platformance. Platformance is ridiculously hard but fun if u like old school platformer games.

For other apps I have mostly standard stuff like ebay, yelp, shazam, the weather channel, imdb, netflix. Most of them work pretty well, he ebay app lacks a lot of functionality and searching in it is totally crap. I used shopsavvy while shopping for presents and it worked pretty well, I've used opentable to reserve tables a couple times and thats worked too. I've used the ATT navigator for GPS and that is ok, but there could easily be a better GPS option out there. I really hope MS puts out a good navigator like android has, its the only thing I miss from android really.

They also need to fix it so that there is a way to just search the marketplace for apps or music or games.

I'm pretty sure he means a search filter, as it stands now all you can do is search everything in the market. It would probably be really easy to add I'm sure it will be soon.

Yea, I wrote that poorly perhaps. But what I mean like VashHT pointed out, was that when I searched for Flux, thefirst 4 hits were for;
Flux Pavilion (artist)
Fluxion (album)
Flux (song)
Old School to New... (playlist)

And then finally the app you mentioned. If you go into Apps first and then search it will sometimes give you the apps first, but it will still throw in music results.

i'm jealous of your WP7 guys... I'm on sprint, and I have an EVO 4G, that desperately needs replacing (I'm on my second EVO). The screen isn't very responsive a lot of the times, and HTC Sense is a pig.

Wonder which WP7 Sprint is getting...

You should be jealous :p In my opinion WP7 is much nicer than iOS. I haven't played with a recent enough version of Android to make a fair comparison, but it's certainly a lot nicer than older Android versions.

Hey Deeko, any chance you can have a pre-setup stronglifts 5x5 program in deekfit? Make it so that you can just enter your 5RM and it will do all the rest of the work for you, tell you how much you're supposed to lift each day, what exercises, etc. I know that's me being extremely lazy, but SL5x5 is pretty popular and it may increase the popularity of the app :)

I will admit, I haven't purchased the app yet so it may do this already.

Its not quiet that robust yet, but there is some routine functionality that I'm gradually beefing up over time. You can create a routine, where you pick the exercises, make a schedule (1 or more weeks), and specify what exercise, along with reps and sets, you want for each day. Then, when you're doing the routine, it tells you which exercises to do on a particular day, and will automatically fill in the reps for you - you just enter what weight you did.

You can also easily see what your past entries were for a given exercise/date, so you can calculate what comes next without too much effort. I've thought about adding the ability to preconfigure a standard routine (like SL, SS, etc) more like you've suggested, but I'm not there quite yet :)

edit: I did a little write up on how to use the routines functionality on my not-very-frequented forums: http://deekfit.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=2

I'm still waiting for a WP7 device on Verizon, but I'm sure a couple are going to be announced this week.

WTF, I thought that was a shortcut for the ant burning app!

No... that's just silly. However, the middle button is what you press when you want to plant a flag in something right? Cuz I have been trying to conquer my friend's apartment and it doesn't seem to work.
