Which anti-virus software to use and which free web AVs are available?

I use AVG AntiVirus for about 2 years now and it works just great. No complaints at all.

AVG has sure been good for me and friends I've installed it for. One family I installed it for couldn't keep McAfee updated so were all the time fighting bugs... With AVG is easy to keep the dat files updated, so they haven't had any viruses since! Plus, it's free!

AVG, grisoft is free AV suite. works great and is free.
otherwise best suite is Norton AV

Actually, NOD 32 has a better record than Norton, If I remember correctally, it has not miss a virus in the wild in over 4 years, according to VB
