Hi brothers, I am currently using Galaxy Note 2 and I cant play all the latest games smoothly. For example Asphalt 8 lags a little etc. Now, I wanna buy a phone that I will be able to play all the latest and upcoming games smoothly. Budget is not a factor. Currently looking for performance and my money should be worth the spent, hence asking you all.
Also resolution must be 1440 x 2560 .
So, which phone should I get ? and which phone do you use yourself ?

I wouldn't get the 1440x2560. That's going to make games slower than they need to be. If you can get an A57 core CPU with similar generation GPU on 1080P, that's going to run much better.

My Note 2 struggles a lot when playing high GFX games. Thats because its GPU and CPU is a little backdated right ?

yeah. if you get a 1440x2560 phone, you'll start off in the exact same position. That's a lot of pixels to drive and the GPU is going to struggle.

You don't really have many choices for phones with that resolution.
Either the Note 4 or the Galaxy S6 probably.

Other choices... Droid Turbo or Nexus 6.

the HTC One M9 is going to have a Snapdragon 810 and a 1080p screen. That will do nicely.

I'm not sure what other 1080p phones are coming out, I just know that would be the best option for performance.

the Turbo, Nexus 6 have an Adreno 420, not 430 (M9).

I would wait till March 31st, the release date of the M9 and see how it performs in benchmarks. then you can make an education decision-- would I rather have 1440x2560? or would I like 25? 35? 15? percent higher graphics performance in games.

now, if you want to keep that large screen you have on the Note 2, hm, I don't know what to do then

I am sorry , do you know me ? How did you get the slightest idea that my dad buying me this ? It could be also that I work and I can afford but you cannot , probably because you still get ur stuffs from your parents coz you are incapable of earning or you have a shit job. I am assuming the first. No offence.
Furthermore , I can do anything I want. Who are you to tell me ? lol

I'm not a huge fan of AMOLED but they've improved it a bunch so IDK.

Dedicating your post mostly to me, writing" "ur" and "coz", its obvious that you do not work (or work for your parents) and basically your parents (or better said, their money) are going to buy you the phone.

Hey, more power to you that you have your life resolved without hardships of actually working for something. I just think its a waste like most of the posts here. Just get the latest (S6 and/or M9) and when that is outdated, buy another...and another.......and another...

Hope you get your framerate issue resolved.

Horrible sentence structure and those bolded mistakes while pointing out someone else's poor use of language is always hilarious to me.

And now that you've decided to make assumptions based on that language, do the same assumptions apply to you as well?

You always have to be super careful when calling people out on their spelling and whatnot.

The s6 has impressive benchmark scores so if money is not an issue, better yet get an s6 edge.
