I am having problems choosing an AM2 motherboard to purchase, right now i'm leaning toward the Foxconn due to the reviews I have read about it and being the closest thing to the original nvidia reference board and the good bios features. I still have 3 days before I will purchase anything so I need opinions please!

Foxconn C51XEM2AA- 8EKRS2H Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP

ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP

Gigabyte GA-M59SLI-S5 Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP

The motherboard will be used with (2) XFX GeForce 7950 GX2, AMD 4600+ AM2 processor, 2GB Mushkin PC5300 3-3-3-10 DDR2 memory, Creative SB X-Fi, OCZ Powerstream 520, FSP BoosterX 3 300 Watt supplmental power supply, (2) 150GB WD Raptors, Liteon DVD-RW, Acer AL2416W 24" Widescreen LCD.

Well first, dont buy the 7950GX2's. They still dont have great quad-sli support for them. Second, just buy 1 power supply. Now that thats said, the Foxconn looks like it can oc. Are you gonna oc? If not jjust buy the Asus board then.

Potato28:

Ok first off I do already have the 2 XFX GeForce 7950 GX2's and eventually they will release better driver support for them as they are in the beta stages at the moment. With the release of the beta drivers with quad sli support there has been 20% - 40 % increase in performances depending on which games or applications you use. As for the 1 power supply I could not pull off running all the hardware in my PC with only 1 OCZ Powerstream 520 with 2 7950s so I do need the 5.25 bay supplemental 300 watt power supply.

I just want to know performance wise and feature wise which would be the best motherboard. I don't know if anywhere in the near future if I will be overclocking but I think I may try it.

No I don't plan on going wireless and I want to get a 590 chipset so thats one of the reasons I am leaning more toward the Foxconn motherboard. Although the Foxconn does have a wireless card built into the motherboard I may just take out my Netgear WG311 wireless card.

OBCT:

I already have an Acer 2416W 24" Widescreen LCD, thats one of the reasons I am going Quad SLi instead of going with an AMD FX-62 processor. Someone had mentioned in one of my other threads that going with Quad SLi and 4600+ am2 instead of going with an FX-62 would be more viable as the graphics are more of the bottleneck rather then the processor.

is there any big difference between the 570 and 590 chipsets or is it just the wireless ability?

Granted that the Acer AL2416W may not be able to do 2048x1536 or 2560x1600 but it does 1920x1200 max resolution and it is more then what firingsquad.com article mentions saying that 1600x1200 users having Quad SLi wouldn't have full benefit but I think with my monitor I may full potential of the Quad SLi.
