We have so many names for it. And it IS an accent. I am English, therefor I have an English accent. The same way an Indian has an Indian accent.

I'm gonna say I have a canadian accent. if i speak french, some folks sometimes comment the hear a times an english accent.

do you see the difference?

if a british person speaks french for example, they might have an english accent, but it's british accent in origin.

okay, fair enough. ALL the canadians so far that I have met (and I've met a lot) don't say "eh?" unless it is part of a joke. haven't heard anyone say it part of their normal language speaking words
