Which 9800 Pro 128MB, 9800 Pro 256MB, or NV35?

I've got an 8500 LE and it's on its last legs. Which card should I upgrade to, the 9800 Pro 128MB, 9800 Pro 256MB, or NV35? The 9800 128MB should be mainstream in the next couple of weeks. The NV35 and 9800 256MB should come out late may/ June. Give me your thoughts. Thanks

How is it on its last legs? thats not THAT bad of a card. What games do you play? If I were you, Id wait for the r400, but if you do have the money, just get a 9800 Pro 128, or even a 9700Pro for 100 less. What does your entire system look like?

Honestly, I don't know why people insist on speculating about hardware that there's so little info on. If you want to upgrade now then buy something that is out now. If you want to see what future hardware will be capable of then wait for it to come out. I'm not trying to be mean, but questions like this are asked every day, and it's virtually impossible to predict the true capability of future hardware. Some examples:

Parhelia: Everyone thought it would be great.....it wasn't
Radeon 9700 Pro: Not overhyped but it spanked everything on the market when it was released
GeForce FX: Quite possibly the biggest disappointment ever from nVidia

I've got an AMD 2400+
2x 512mb PC3200 Cas 2 (I'm going to overclock, so this ram is coming wed, probally up the FSB from 133 to 166)
Radeon 8500 LE (Been causing lock-ups lately... XP restarts and says 8500 had an error)
Motherboard is a KT400 Soltek FRV

Why not start with a clean slate of winxp? If it still has that problem I say 9800pro if you have the cash else just get a 9700pro

Could be a driver issue...Likely winxp is set to restart upon error....Try older or newer drivers for the card...Is this ATI le version or a third party LE card??? List exact driver you are running and whether they were installed on a clean install....
