Which 9800? (need advice)

Hey all,
THis is my first post on these forums and i need some help. Right now im running a XP 1600 with my faithful old Ge-Force 2 GTS 64... Ya see, IM one of those people that like to buy hardware once every two of three years.. My problem is that now the time has come for me to buy a new computer and i cant choose a video card... I want to buy a Radeon 9800 (Please dont ask me why) but i want to know.. would i be better off going with the 256mb version from ATI or the 128mb version from Hercules??? both seem like great cards, but i dont know which one will last me....
 
Jeremy.. Dont mean to be rude, but I'de like to keep this post to just discussing the two cards (Radeon 256 and Prophet 9800) And since the Radeon 256 is already out (OEM) then I think thats what I'll go with
 
Under other circumstances i would never recommend to buy anything, that is virtually useless RIGHT NOW, but if you are intending to keep the new card as long as the old one, I would buy the 256MB version. Wait another year and games make use of it...
 
what is the price differance between the two? personally i would go for teh 128mb herculese, there is not a big performance increase between them all and the herculese SHOULD be alot cheaper.
