Which 8GB memory for Mac Mini?

I'm looking into upgrading my mac mini as well- wondering is it worth going up to 8gb over 4gb? I got my hands on a refurb core 2 duo 2.26/9400m model (MC238 I think).

It's an actual open and disassemble to upgrade my memory so i'd prefer just to do it once and get the HD at the same time (just picking up a 7200 250gb WD Black Laptop Harddrive to get a 7200 drive in there). Wondering if I need 8 or if 4 is fine - I only really use my mac for WoW and browsing. Some lightroom as well....

I use Aperture + Photoshop + various forms of plug-ins ect... I can eat through 6 Gb ram in no time. I would say go with one 4Gb and upgrade to 8 later if you see fit

No!! Go with 8GB + 500GB all at one time. That 250GB will be so small in a year!! Actually my 500 is too small now!!!!!!

How much longer should I wait? Will the price really drop much before the end of the year, or will the beginning of the year add in another price cut?

For your needs 4GB should be plenty. Get a larger HDD instead.
