I am going to build a comp for someone and looking into getting a springdale board and would like to know which quality boards have some sort of PAT emulation support. Thanks.

PAT is what separates the 875 chipset from the 865 chipset. Intel claims that PAT is hard wired into the chipset, however other tech researchers say that this is just a blanket statement that covers Intel's faster tested chipset modules. Intel is pissed that MB manufactures are stating that with a simple bios tweak PAT can be enabled. At the moment MB makers are calling PAT by their own design(GAT,MAM...ect.) So as far as PAT is concerned it's not so cut and dry, 865's may or may not have PAT...Here's a couple of articles...
