Which 6800 ultra is the best?

Leadtek and MSI offer the best cooling solutions, of any 6800 series card.. One of these two cards is an excellent choice..

Personally, I don't see why you would pay extra for an ultra instead of getting a GT that can easilly run at ultra speeds. As far as I know they are exactally the same card just higher settings on the ultra.

You can always put a better heatsink/fan on the card to improve cooling and reduce noise. I assume that the Zalman heatpipe with the almost silent fan will work good on the new cards.

Zalman cooler doesn't fit on 6800 without modding. The ultra has two power cables going to it so with good cooling you can probably push it higher.

Only one mention for Gainward and its got one of the best cooling solutions available? 🙁

Seriously, the Gainward cards are excellent too, and OC fairly well thanks to their cooling design.

When the fans are operating at 100%, the card does get a little noisy, but I don't notice it, since I'm usually playing a game whose sound masks the videocard's sound.
