Which 6-in-1 reader?

I'm looking for a internal 6-in-1 flash media reader. Preferable USB 2.

Which one works ok at a good price?
I read some reviews and searched Newegg (Reviews & Listing)) and it seems that some of them have problems.

Anyone have good/bad experiences to share?

DON'T get the CoolMax model. I purchased one for my Shuttle XPC, and it died within a week of installing it. When it malfunctioned, it started hard-locking my system whenever I inserted Flash media. I needed to unplug the system just to get to boot up again!

Besides that, the eject button on the CompactFlash slot was useless. I often ended up having to press it 4 or 5 times before the card disloged itself out far enough for me to pull it out of the unit.

do not use the AOpen! Mine was wired poorly and sparked my mobo! SVC rma'd plus shipping no problems.

I've used at least 5 of them and have run into the same issue as you on occasion. I've spent hours trying to remedy the problem and they refuse to even work on some motherboards.

I am going to try this one in my pc.

I was looking at all of the readers newegg had too
I finally just got this one
I don't regret it at all
very fast, very easy, and cheap

Excellent choice! I overlooked that one, but I decided to order it just now.

WOW - thank you for all the info.

@ peter7921: Thank you for the link - very helpful.

@ John: I have to agree, I was going to get the Atech Pro III. However, it's a bit pricey compared to other models.

@ Snowwie: I might give this one a try as well - can't beat it for the price!!!
