Reasoning..He's not going to resell (I'm a big XFX Fanboy too..) and he's going to squeeze everything he can out of it.

5770 already runs cool. So the aftermarket cooler will help me really get the temps down when I try to find the OC ceiling to squeeze some more life out of it later.

Get the cheapest one. 5770 runs really cool, no need for Vapor-X or any other kind of fancy cooling. Plus they are all using the reference PCB design anyway. Only other reason to consider is warranty length/quality, but not really a big factor, for me at least.

hmm.. well the powercolor has a slight overclock and comes with dirt2, but I am unaware of their quality overall.

Get something without the "shroud" cooler. It's not as good as the egg cooler. I believe the Vapor-X coolers are the best for the 5770s. If you plan on overclocking, get the Vapor-X. A lot of 5770s will only OC really well if the voltage is turned up, which really increases your temps (I would know...I had to switch out my shroud cooler to get good OC speeds).

Plus, the shroud cooler is annoying sounding when you start playing games...

I might be missing what you're trying to say but what does gaming benches have to do with exhausting air out the back?

I saw in another post some of the sapphire vaporx had a bios problem so they had some of the stream processors disabled. If the benchmark had one of the problem cards and didn't update the bios that could explain a lot. Otherwise I'd go for the powercolor just for the price. I think they all use the same OEM anyways so company matters little except for the warranty support and bonuses.
btw to make it a fair comparison you should add shipping cost to the price since the powercolor charges shipping and the others are free.
Thus the standard sapphire is actually the cheapest depending on how much you value dirt 2.

My prices include shipping on the Power color. Actual price is $154. Shipping is $8. There is also a $10MIR that I did not include on the powercolor.
The powercolor is not shrouded, it uses an aftermarket cooler that appears to be an OEM artic cooling one.
