Hi guys. I am in the market to buy a 2080ti to replace my two MSI 980tis. With what is currently available to buy which make /version would be best to cost. I see there is lots of choice as usual and quite a wide price difference between them (1000-1500). As you guys are a lot more informed than I am, could you please give me your opinion and which one to get?

Many thanks

one person told some things and tell me if you agree will all these things

The only real negative across the board is price.

astrix 2080 rtx ti - Triple fan cooler, 1665 MHz Boost Clock

Evga Ftw3 2080 ti - Triple fan cooler, 1755 MHz Boost Clock

msi rtx trio 2080 ti - Triple fan cooler, 1755 MHz Boost Clock

Palit Gaming Pro OC 2080TI - Dual Fan Cooler, 1650 MHz Boost Clock

;; which you believe has better
better cooling systems: A triple Fan setup is generally going to cool more effectively than a dual fan setup
custom pcbs with more power phases and binned chips (nvidia sells two different chips to the classical cheaper manufacturers and "-A" which is cherry picked and pulls better oc) - Complete lottery IMHO. (I.E. Luck of the draw - makes no difference who you choose, but those that are factory overclocked a bit higher as to boost clock most likely have been binned to be able to support that elevated boost clock.)

what is the difference between evga FTW 2080 Ti with the ultra evga xc 2080 ti;; The FTW has a 3 fan cooler and a boost clock of 1755MHz vs. the XC Ultra with a 2 fan cooler and a boost clock of 1650MHz. That's pretty much it.

which is better;; can you tell me please;; Again, very little difference between any of these aside from factory boost clock and number of cooling fans. EVGA has the best warranty/customer support.

also some people say that the best custom vga 2080 ti cards are asus astrix 2080 TI and evga ftw 2080 ti. The EVGA card has a better factory boost clock, that's pretty much the only real difference between the two - they are both good cards.

I'd take the EVGA card due to the better warranty service should something go south.

If it were me either EVGA or MSI. I've had very good luck with both companies and that's with owning ~ 50gpus over the years.

Read reviews on the cards, and make your decision. Either that, or just flip a coin. ;)

https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/GeForce_RTX_2080_Ti_Strix_OC/

https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EVGA/GeForce_RTX_2080_Ti_FTW3_Ultra/

https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GeForce_RTX_2080_Ti_Gaming_X_Trio/

(I couldn't find the ti review, so the regular 2080 should do)
https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Palit/GeForce_RTX_2080_Gaming_Pro_OC/

They all received the editor's choice award. Read the pros and cons of each card, and click buy

The best reviewed from what I've seen are the MSI Trio, EVGA FTW3 and Asus ROG Strix. However, even a reference PCB card will give you nearly the same performance as long as it has a decent cooler.

Gamers Nexus regularly does teardown videos of pcbs for popular cards, ex:

Still, bot jim ... is it ok if i call you bot jim?
Well bot jim, if you already own 2x 980 cards, you dont need to upgrade - there is no game that would substantially benefit from going to a single RTX, as the only real advantage over two 980s is the ray tracing protocol, and there are no ray tracing games out yet.

They are all going to boost around to 2.1GHz or so, even the non-A $999 ones will, it's a matter of what cooler you want and build quality, and how much you want to overclock (reference cards can't go above 112% power target).

You've posted these same questions on multiple tech forums, so I think you have enough answers to make a decision.

All of the 2080 Ti are power limited and cooling comes down to how much noise can you tolerate. The power limit is what will affect the ability to OC and water cooling won't have much of an impact. Of the three, I would go with Evga due to their warranty and past experience.

I don't need to. Read the reviews on what the experts say!

The reviews are detailed and cover every aspect of your questions.

From a performance perspective, the FTW is the top EVGA card. It has the best cooling, clocks and features. From a price perspective, is the price difference something you can justify with your budget? In real world use, the difference, even overclocked will minimal.

I bought the EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA GAMING, 11G-P4-2487-KR, 11GB GDDR6, iCX2 & RGB LED

Its expensive but some positives

-The OC tool is awesome and easy to use
- Temps NEVER have went higher than 69c
- Power to 130w

I really don't OC my cards (didn't with my 1080), but since I paid for OC ability, I went and tried with this card

Results are:

Benchmarking 130core/800mem - Effective 2180mhz (boost)
Stability 103core/750mem(I havent pushed mem really) - Effective 2085 (boost)

A good card and solid support. Good resale as well.
