I travel a lot all over the world and I use my Droid phone to play movies and games to kill time. I brough some backup battery in different country and found they are not reliable. Some of them make my cell phone too hot and can only last for less than one hours.

Anyone now how to identify a good battery and where to get it?

Thanks

Which "Droid"? The original? X? X2? D2? D3? D4? RAZR? Etc. etc.

I got one from Amazon for my Droid X2, about 10 bucks. Please check if your Droid use the same battery as mine. Or you may check on other sites, prices range from 9.99 to 55.00 (with battery door). Moto original, part# BH5X (1500 mAh) - SNN5865Am cost 34.00 or 55.00 (with door) from Moto site. I don't want to pay such high price for original. So for your reference, here is the Amazon link which I got mine from:

http://www.amazon.com/TimeTec-1800mA...+droid+battery

It states 1800mAh, a little bigger than Moto original at 1500mAh. I used it for several weeks, so far so good (better than my old one in phone).
