Where've you been in the world?

For me, I've been stranded in North America since I've set foot. (NA=Canada as well). Just wondering where everybody's been in the world?

US, Canada, Mexico, Tons of Carribean Islands, Venezuela, Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Luxemburg, Switzerland, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea (4 or 5 paces into North Korea), and 44 US States (missing Alaska, Nevada, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Washington). I'm an Army brat.

all, any ideas for europe? i'm heading over there to backpack around for 10 days.

If you're in western switzerland or eastern france, visit Strasbourg. It's a beautiful city and the air is just fantastic.

Oh, I wasn't in the Army, my dad was. We did most of that travelling when I was a kid. 30 days leave a year and $10/person/way flights made travelling to Europe really cheap. That, and living in Japan for 2 years allowed us to see all those Far East places.

It was fun going to all those places. Germany is supposed to have awesome scenery for backpacking. Not too sure how far you can get in 10 days, but I'm sure you'll have a blast. If it weren't for the backpacking thing, I'd say spend 10 days in London. That's gotta be one of my favorite towns. Can't beat walking around one of the world's largest cities at 4am and feeling perfectly safe (can't say the same for most big cities in the US). Tons of history and culture there, lots of stuff to keep you busy. As an added bonus, they speak a dialect of English! 😉

i will be probably going to france or italy, not sure where yet, but will definitely be in london 4 days. funny thing is that i feel perfectly safe at 4am in nyc, some parts, and the train which i take home haha... 😀

Oh I was 10 minutes walk from Mexico once, but we didn't go 🙁
