Where's Windows Media Player 6.4 on XP?

I know you can use the Run - mplayer2 command but where is exactly the exe file?
I have a shortcut program that I use very extensively, but I need to find the file in order to create a shortcut to it.
Done searches on various combinations of 'mplayer2' with no success?

Ideas?

Overwrite with the install, do a search for *.exe within the Windows directory, and use the Time Modified bar to find the the executable.

Just run "mplayer2" from the "Run..." command. I switched to it cuz I just love pausing with a mouse click! 🙂

Edit: nm, i'm retarted 🙁 You already know that...

from a command prompts:

cd \
dir /s mplayer2.exe

🙂

thats i how found it two weeks ago at my cousin's house. long live DOS 😀

To actually answer the question it's in the same place as wmp 8 is. So go to C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player and it's in there, just make a shortcut to it on the desktop or where ever you like.

Where were you before I changed all the file associations, one by one?
