Where's the Motorola F3?

Motorola was supposed to release this phone in America during Q4 2006 but it's still not anywhere to be found except on eBay. I suspect the ones on eBay are from India or Latin America. I really wanted this phone because it would have cost $50.

Does Motorola think that Americans only want phones laden with cameras, mp3 players, and all that other unnecessary junk that duplicates products we already own which work much better than something on a cell phone? I want a slim, cheap, GOOD LOOKING phone that makes and recieves calls and text messages!!! And I find it insulting that such a device is targeted at "emerging markets" and not even brought to the US.

yes

never mind that there are more and more places that disallows cameras and camera phones.

Isn't that the same as the L2? I'm planning to get an L2 soon. I like it because it's a phone that makes calls... instead of downloading mp3s, making beer, serving as a butcher knife, etc.

F3 is thinner. 0.35" vs 0.44".. No color screen on the F3.

Question, if I just buy one of these from another country, will it work with any provider here who uses sim cards? (Fido in Canada to be specific)
