Where's the best place to get info on RAID??

I'm new to the RAID scheme and am looking for information on how RAID works, what components I need, and how to set it up. I've heard awesome things about it so now I'm looking to implement. But I need specs and knowledge first.

First stop. Go to http://www.whatis.com and put in RAID. It gives a pretty good description of RAID and even lists the different implementations (RAID-0, RAID-1, etc) and tells a bit about each of em.

I'm going to be implementing RAID myself on my new computer. I just bought a SCSI RAID controller. Oooo it's gonna be fun.
