With lexmark I think there is really only refillers....that's their gimmick.

MegaToners is good, but where epson and the like are $2-5 per tank, it looks like lexmark is still $15+.

good luck...you may be able to get one free after rebate easier than replacing the cartridges. That's what an ex-girlfriend of mine would do.

There is no catch to Megatoners. They are a large reseller that's all. This is not the original Lexmark cart but a Chinese (high quality) clone. I haven't had a problem with their ink in my epson 860 or 880 (I also used Nektron that extracartridges.com sells), but I haven't needed any yet in my new Canon i960.

We use Megatoner tanks in our Epson color 777 without problem one for the last 3 months.
My gal does all her printing for her students test papers here at home. The color tanks work just as well as the black.
