I was working on a new-to-me S70 turbo manual and noticed the e-brake doesn't work well.

I opened up the e brake setup on the passenger side rear and I found no meat on either e brake shoe. Driver side was fine, I just have to adjust the drum a little.

First time I see a worn shoe in person.

Someone drove a long way with that thing set. Smokinnnnnnnnnnn!!!

Obviously, one side was adjusted out further then the other or both sides would most likely look the same.

I'm making an assumption that this is a dual brake system on the real. Disc brakes to stop the car and inner drum brakes for the emergency brake.
