Where's a good place to get Cd-r's online???

just wanna know a good website to get good namebrand Cd-r's like Memorex and Imation, for a decent price. Where do you guys buy your Cd-r's if you get them online?

Different places have different promotions. There's really not one "good" place to get CD-Rs because prices fluctuate week to week depending on the rebates that are offered, etc. I picked up the Imation 100-pack CD-R for $7.98 after rebate during the Staples President Day sale. Taiyo Yudens are considered the best manufacturer of CD-Rs, which use the Fuji and TDK label. Just look for the "Made in Japan". Just keep checking the Hot Deals forum and you should be up do date as to where the best places are to get your CD-Rs. Hope this helps.

"Good" and "Memorex" don't belong in the same sentence. IMO Memorex products are the worst on the planet. I consider them far worse than any generic product.

well if you follow cdrlabs.com's website, 24x memorex is often used to test, and usually burns at it's rated speed or more. I've used it before as well and have had NO problems with bad burns or not reading.

All the TDK's I've checked were not Taiyo Yudens. Fuji's have always been.

Back to the original question, I'd check around for what specials local stores are running. With rebates and such, you can usually get a better deal than ordering online and having to pay shipping.

Yea, I know that. I think it's just recently that TDK's started using Taiyo Yudens, at least the ones from CompUSA did. I assumed that the rest of them were the same. Sorry! 😛
