Where's a good place to get a (cheap) beer in Toronto?

I'm heading up tomorrow for the weekend. Beer at most of the brew pubs I've been to are about $6 - $7/pint.

I know that's like a $1.50 US, but are there any cheap places in downtown TO that are okay?

Seriously, you shouldn't pay more than $4-$5 for a drink.

Where the hell are you going that pints are $6-7?

He was probably exaggerating... I think $1.50 USD is about $2.45 CDN..
