Where's a good place to find small DIY amp kits?

I just bought two old home audio speakers second-hand. I planned to use them as my general used/ccmputer speakers, through a receiver. I bought a giant clunky receiver unit secondhand as well, and I just don't like it. I intended to take it apart and just use the amp(no cassette decks, radio, etc), but the whole integration/made in China thing is going to make that difficult. Also, it only has 10w total. I once saw a 50W DIY amp kit that you solder together yourself, and I'ld really like to do that instead of this. Does anybody know where to get one? I've looked on ebay but it seems to be full of imitations and overpriced for what they're really selling. I know there's an honest e-tailer out there selling these things cheap and uncomplicated. Does anybody know one? Thanks.

afaik, the only amp that probably has enough current to power speakers is the Dynahi.

www.head-fi.org is a place to start. btw, it should be noted most people build headphone amps, speaker amps are not built very often, the reasoning is unknown to me, but I can guess (cost, complexity, codecs, logic)

misterx on aim; mention my handle.

More or less, I'm looking for a cheap and small alternative to a receiver to power the speakers in case I can't find a good old receiver in a second-hand shop.
