There is so much to do in the US, so much cheaper and so much safer, why would anyone travel out of the country.

Not a put down if you want to but not for me.

I would most likely want to travel to Rome and check out the incredible (now ruins) works of architecture. I mean, these people were really remarkable artists... the colliseum was so efficient that people were able to exit it in a matter of minutes, the physics behind it is also remarkable (referring to the amphitheater... Rome was an incredible society, and if I were to go anywhere in the world, I would venture there =)

Well I consider myself pretty well traveled for being 24, and my favorite places have been Singapore and Australia. I'm actually going to Singapore, Taiwan, and Australia in January so that will be a fun trip. Lots of good food, lots of good shopping, lots of great people.

I would love to spend some time exploring Japan, since I've basically only been to the airport there. South America doesnt interest me that much, neither does Africa. I'd like to tour China during the Olympics, that would be a great trip. I visited Europe when I was too young to appreciate it, so it would be great to go back their again.

I'll be going to europe in the spring. I can't wait to see all the masterpieces hanging in the louvre and to see the ruins of the ancient roman/greek civilizations. But I think I'm most looking forward to walking through the Sistine Chapel...I've seen so many pictures but to actually walk beneath michelangelo's greatest work and witness it in it's full glory...I can hardly wait!

Well when I was 'downsized' at my previous job, I took the whole summer off and visited the following countries:

Cuba (very interesting, like going back into time...)
Brazil (Really breathtaking by day, party all night!)
England (Big Cabs and quaint little streets...)
Kenya (Mombasa had the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen)
Thailand (very laid back people, and very wild!)
Hong Kong (too many people, not enough space!)
Los Angeles (well, it is LA...)

With the exception of the Cuba part, I booked a ticket with AirTreks (an around-the-world travel service), if I remember correctly it came to ~$3000.00 (air only). Not bad, if you ask me. For that, I think I got a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Or, maybe not, I'd like to do it again within the next couple of years!

Places that I have never been to that I would love to see:

Cuba
South Africa
Vietnam
New Zealand
Egypt
France
Iceland
Mongolia (what country is this now?)
