Where would Reggie Bush have been taken in the 2006 NFL Draft as a *receiver*

Suppose that, for some cRaZy reason, Reggie Bush made the announcement that he would absolutely not sign with the team that drafted him unless they only played him at wide receiver.

CrAzY indeed 😕

Anyhow, where would he have been taken in the draft?

As points of reference, he was taken 2nd, and the first two receivers to be selected were Santonio Holmes (Ohio State) at 25 and Chad Jackson (Florida) at 36

I would guess late 1st round

5'10", 201 is still a little small to be a #1 receiver. Late 2nd if a team needed a #2 guy for some gadget plays.

It could be a mistake, but I see him listed as 6'0" everywhere...

Yeah definitely put a damper in Steve Smith's and Santana Moss's careers..

Meh...

So, FWIW, through five weeks, Reggie Bush is currently leading rookies in receptions, and is 3rd in receiving yards...

The rookie receiving yards leader is his teammate, Marques Colston
