Where would intel be without AMD?

i think we'd still have p4s but perhaps at a later date
intel recognized the immediate threat from amd and had to shift into high gear

Where would AMD be without Intel... Please this is hardly highly technical....

Remember AMD copied Intel products up till the end of Socket 7... AMD uses Intel designed and pioneered X86 technology. Intel invented it. Remember the past... Remember the highly undesireable K6 and K5 family of processors?

Of course now everyone wants the K7 family because... well it's faster clock for clock and cheaper as well... And AMD didnt force RAMBUS excrement down our throats......

 
Sure, AMD may have "copied" the Intel processors up until a point.... but before AMD started producing their own processors, they were a manufacturer for Intel processors.
