Where was secret service when this happened?

Scouting out the hooker situation in the greater West Palm Beach area for potential hostiles.
 
It was a planned event that everyone knew was going to happen. The media played along.

Van Duzer’s June bike-trek was part of his Van Duzer Foundation, and helped raise awareness for blood donation shortages. Founded in 2008 to support a local firefighter whose house burned down, the foundation has since raised more than $600,000, Van Duzer said. Van Duzer said he rode with a few kids from the Boys and Girls Club and met with U.S. Surgeon General Regina M. Benjamin to discuss blood shortages.

Obama told The New York Times that Van Duzer’s effort in promoting blood donations was part of the reason the campaign decided to visit his pizza shop.

“One of the reasons that we wanted to stop by is that Scott has been doing unbelievable work out of this pizza shop in promoting the importance of donating blood,” Obama told the Times. “And so he has set some records here in Florida. He has received commendations from the White House, the surgeon general, he has galvanized and mobilized the local community and he’s educating kids and folks all across the country on this issue.”

Obama kind of looked suprised when it happened and I was wondering why no secret service guys stepped in. Although, I'm sure they checked the guy out thoroughly beforehand.

Nope, if it hadn't been planned the secret service would have intervened. No one gets to grab and pick up the president if it hasn't been cleared.

Sure, we see people picking up and swinging the President around all the time. The secret service just sat there because they didn't want to cause a scene.

Was it also staged that Mitt Romney "accidentally" had a conversation with a Gay Veteran?

It usually staged by both sides. They are politicians, it's what they do. The only difference is that gullible cheerleaders like you gush about it and cynical old bastards like me check their fingers every time we shake hands with them.

The president’s Secret Service agents looked a bit perturbed, but Mr. Van Duzer said that he got permission first. Speaking to reporters after, he said an agent “said I was all right as long as I didn’t take him away.”

No, the Secret Service doesn’t like it when people take the president away.

What she is shopping for the family at target, like a typical mom. I don't see how this is staged. She isn't like ann romney who has servants doing the shopping.
