For you, I would highly recommend a hotel on Castro Street. I'm sure you'll find exactly what you are looking for there 😉
 
Stay at the W, the most awesome hotel I have stayed at anywhere. Within Walking Distance of Union Square, PacBell Park and Chinatown.

The W is very very nice. When AMD had their Athlon 64 launch event that is where they put us up at. Very swanky.....🙂 They also have a wireless access point in the lobby and broadband in the rooms......
