Where is a good place to register domains? I've traditionally used networksoutions.com, but at $35 a year, it's pricey. Any good suggestions? I've been told that domainmonger.com is good at $14 a year. Thanks.

I like domainmonger, but I thought they were $17/year.

Since the beggining of the year, I've registered around 10 domains with them and have had no problems so far.

LOL!

Actually, things are changing for the whole .com situation. 6 to 8 new extentions are being added (i.e. .pro, .biz, etc.) and Network Solutions will no longer be the only place to register a domain name.

From what I've read, it may take a couple more months to go into effect.

Ben, "Network Solutions will no longer be the only place to register a domain name." Where have you ben? :) NSI hasn't been the only one for about a year now. I wasn't kidding about domainmonger. Check them out.

He, he.

No sh|t. I did think that was a joke. :) I'm a dumbass.

Isn't there another company that just started a couple weeks ago? Hmm. I don't know. That's why I thought that the monopoly had only recently been taked away from NS.

Oh well, I just recently got interested in this "scene" so that's probably why I'm behind the times.
