where to put thermisistor on duron?

ok i am ordering a new duron 700 and abit kt7 raid tomorrow? where and how do i put the thermisistor on the CPU to measure temperature? durons are not intel chips in which you can view CPU temp rt?

the kt7 has a thermistor underneath the socket... They have it so that it rests on the backside(aka cold side) of the cpu.

IT may or may not come with anotehr thermistor cable.

As Mike says, the thermistor is mounted in the socket 462. You'll know you have it cause its likely to stick out of the socket too far and you'll have to carefully bend it down to get your cpu to seat correctly.
