Where to purchase (reasonably) cheap overnight bag

I'm looking to get a small bag I can use to carry my laptop and a few items (maybe a couple clothing items if possible). I'm thinking something along the lines of an overnight bag, which I can use for plane trips as well. As far as I can tell, the office supply stores have a very limited selection. Where else would I be able to purchase one? I am looking for ~$50.

You start by asking for a messenger bag then switch to an overnight bag. 😕 Which do you want?

I bought a cheap messenger bag at Old Navy for ~$15. It is not appropriate as an overnight bag.

Once in a while you can get an entire set of luggage (Ricardo of Beverly Hills brand) at Costco for $75 with a coupon, and that set includes an overnight bag. It is not a bag I would carry on a daily basis.

More an overnight bag than a messenger bag. Sorry about that.

I tend to make at least a dozen or so overnight trips/flights each year, and am tired of using either my backpack (it is heavy and large) or my 24 inch duffel. I need something smaller and durable.

That is an entirely different beast.

The one night you can't plead lack of sleep is on christmas weekend. Unless you work in the ER.

You can when you spent last night over at a friend's house with his family, and said family members snore to wake the dead.
