You can't go wrong w/ an Antec PS; reliable, quiet and not expensive IMO :)

Although a lot of people seem to dislike it, I absolutely LOVE my Ultra 500w PSU.

Only quirk it has it a hot +5v, under multimeter (with loads) it reads 5.6v and when the PC is idle 5.8v. My other voltages are ROCK SOLID.

Under load, running the following:
15K hitachi SCSI + 10K Hitachi SCSI
1x160 + 1x120 8MB Maxtors
3.7GHz Prescott CPU
6800NU

Running 2 instances of Prime w/all disks defragging + 3DMark 2k5, my voltages from a multimeter read +11.9v on the 12V (12.2 idle), +5.6v on the 5V (5.8v idle) and 3.4v on the 3.3v (3.4v idle)

One hell of a PSU, although the cables are showing wear from being in a cramped case. (The plastic is popping out of the power connectors). Also, I broke an ATX connector on a motherboard because the PSU's atx cable is too big and bulky. But the mobo survived intact.

zim, lol

paidless, you are very fourtunate nik is not on and someone nice like zim posted first :)

Questions like this usually go in the general hardware forum.

I dont reccomend modulars, but if you feel you must have one, get the antec neopower (way overpriced) or OCZ modstreams

You don't have to shrink wrap your cables, just use zip ties and route the wires cleanly :)
