where to order parts, USA

Any suggestions for where to order PC parts for box I'm building?

I've priced out at a few places, they all seem to sell specific parts cheapest, but shipping would kill it to buy one part from every place, so I'll likely just do it in one or two orders.

The two I've always used are www.newegg.com and www.mwave.com

I took agree that Newegg and Mwave are excellent suppliers. I've bought from both of these companies; a motherboard from Mwave and a CPU from Newegg. Both were delivered on time in excellent condition.

newegg.com seems to have good prices on video cards & motherboards. CPU's are a little high there.

I recommend outsideloop.com. Their prices aren't the lowest, but if you have questions or need some help, you won't find nicer, more technically-knowledgable guys.

Another vote for Mwave.com. I won't bore you w/ the details, but they recently went above and beyond the call of duty to RMA and cross ship a busted CUSL2-C mobo.

I just ordered some parts this past week to build a new rig. The places I were www.newegg.com and www.tcwo.com. I can highly recommend both places. If you're concerned about shipping costs, TCWO has $6.95 ground shipping for up to 150lbs. This makes it an excellent place to order cases, monitors, and other heavy parts. Newegg rocks. For memory I always use Crucial. They have high-quality memory and offer free 2-day Air shipping at a good price.

In fact, I just ordered a 128mb stick of PC100 for my Celeron system Thursday night at 6:30PM EST, and it was at my house the next day before 1:00PM EST. All for only $35, which is not bad at all for quality Micron memory.
