anyone know a good place to paintball in OC? Ive never gone before so i dont have any gear or anything. Also, do you have to go in a big group or can i just take like a couple people? and how much will it cost me? THanks!

try Tomestone in Anaheim (call 714-758-1977 for more details).. and there are a couple south of OC close to San Diego. The ones close to San Diego would have the best natural fields if you don't mind the driving. Usually, it would cost you anywhere about $25-35 (rental included) for a full-day. It's best if you have a big group so that you may play among yourself. But they do have pickup games.

You can take a couple people and they'll stick you on a team

tombstone is located in corona, pretty nice field

i hear sc village is great, but expensive (and far)

<< how much can i expect to spend total? >>

Depends on the field. My local one sells rental packages for like $35, which includes a gun, mask, tank, and 200 or 500 rounds of paint. Paint is the biggest expense, with a case (2000 rounds) costing nearly $100 at most fields, if not more. You shouldn't need an entire case for the day, especially with a rental marker.

Oh, and if you borrow a marker from a friend, keep it under watch at all time. I know of a couple people who had expensive guns stolen at SC Village

I think tombstone is one of the better fields, I use to like SC, but now there are WAY too many people who go there. Both places are located in corona. You don't have to have a big group just do what most people do which is walk on. They usually have packages including admissions, gun, mask, and paint. Check out both websites Tombstone and sc village. Have fun.
