ive heard legends is the place to go for steaks in the tropicana.

if there is a mortons you cant go wrong there either

Just came back from Vegas a week ago. I personally didnt try the prime rib at the Rio but I heard it was pretty good. My wife and I did go to Sam's town twice both on Friday for their Seafood Buffett at 17.99 which was pretty good and the crab legs was huge, also went on Saturday for the Prime Rib Buffett at 11.99 which was also awesome.

Sam's Town is not on the strip but there is a free trolley that goes back and forth between some of the strip casinos and it. The website list the times for the trolley.

The steakhouse at Circus Circus is consistently rated #1 in Vegas. A buddy of mine checked it out on my recommendation based on a little web research. He said CC is a dump, but the steakhouse was amazing. He didn't have the Prime Rib there, but it's worth a look.

i was in vegas last weekend. The prime rib at wynn was great... Paris wasnt as good. But if you are there on sunday, go for the Paris brunch. You get free champaigne which is usually 8 dollars a glass. My group went through 6 bottles.

I know where the best Prime Rib is in Vegas, but I doubt you will believe me.

It's at a place called Roberta's in the El Cortez. It's an old timer place where they serve you like the old days. I still believe that children are not allowed in the joint.

Many of the places mentioned above are kind of ghetto - as is El Cortez, but like I said - it's the best PR in Vegas.

The second best is also in the ghetto. It's at Jerry's Nugget. They have 3 cuts and I've never seen anyone finish the biggest one. If you go here, keep a "shiv" on you for protection. 🙂

English Cut (8 - 10 oz) - $10.59
Thick Cut (forgot size) - $16.59
Double Cut (forgot size) - $33.18

I will be missing the weekend. 🙁

Las Vegas Review-Journal . . Best Steakhouse

Outback is the best Steakhouse? You have to be freaking kidding me.

Yea, I doubt the best steakhouse is outback. The writer probably got a year of free food.

Uh, thats the Readers Pick. So I assume that it doesnt have anything to do with what the writer thought.

Edit: It looks like they think Fleming's Prime Steakhouse is the best.

Gallagher's. Famous in the real New York too.

Barbary Coast offers great Prime Rib and for the price, it's hard to beat.

Excalibur's Prime Rib is also top notch.

I went there based on those same ratings and wasn't all that impressed. There is a place not far from Hooters that had steak so memorable that I am looking forward to going back to Vegas in the future just to have steak there. It's behind the strip... with a good map I could locate it.

edit: I had ribeye at this place, but if the ribeye is that good, then the other stuff must be good too.

go to vic and anthonys. im not a big fan of prime rib but all their stuff is really good, i usually get the bone-in ribeye.

its like butter. i make the trip to vegas just for that.

If it's like butter why not just eat butter?

ZING!!!

I am not a big prime rib eater, but I do love a good filet or strip and the best steakhouses I have been to in Vegas are: SW Steakhouse at the Wynn, Delmonico's at the Venetian, and Del Frisco's off the strip.

Expect to pay $90/person not including drinks. I dropped $300 on dinner for two.
