A) spend roughly $600 total on a 6 day, 5 night cruise of the western carribean
B) spend roughly $800-$900 on an 8 day, 7 night trip to a current undecided trip to europe(popular choices are either amsterdam or berlin)
C) spend roughly $600 total on a 7 day, 6 night trip to Mexico City
D) spend roughly $300 on a 7 day, 6 night trip to Canada(somewhere near niagra falls)
E) spend roughly $50 and drink a lot in philly

pros:
A) good accomodations, good food, awesome weather
B) experience a new culture
C) historic
D) cheap, a lot of alcohol
E) tried and true, dirt cheap

cons:
A) kinda expensive, have to drive to jacksonville(13 hours)
B) really expensive, not great weather, ****** accomodations(hostels)
C) I don't really want to see ruins and temples, my roommate does, fairly expensive
D) freezing, while not very expensive, so similar to america, worth the money?
E) I drink here every weekend

So difficult.

Why wouldn't I expect to drink on the cruise? That price is including estimated alcohol costs....

btw I just found a cruise for the same price that is longer, because it leaves from NYC instead of jacksonville...thats not bad, removes the long drive...

Have you ever been on a cruise before? It's about $6/drink. If you plan on getting wasted that money will add up real quick unless you are an ultra light weight.

Exactly...also, did you plan money for trips and events once you get off the boat at the stops?

Where the hell are you finding a cruise for $450? And $150 will get you about 20 drinks...3/day. That won't be much "Fun".

My trips/events would pretty much involve drinking or sitting on a beach, or both.

Then you can hope they let your drunk ass back on the boat. They don't let you bring your own yummy yum yum drinks on board unless you plan on paying a surcharge/bottle.

WTF? Goodluck with that. Do you have to row the boat yourself and hunt for your own food?

how are you going to europe for $800-900? Round trip plane tickets to Berlin that I've looked at are around $800 alone.

I wouldn't be bringing any bottles on board, they'd be in my blood already. He's done this before.

Its a Carnival cruise, its listed on Carnival's own website at a very similar price, we're putting 4 people in a two-bedroom room(they allow up to 5).

I'm serious they might not let you back on if they think you are to drunk. If you take it easy you'll be alright.
