where to go for b&m digital photo printing?

I like Costco and Walgreen's. You can often find coupon codes for Walgreens.

I tried Walmart a few years ago, and they only had matte paper, which I did not care for.

My dad said Adorama (?) is where professional photographers go?

Is this true, or is picture quality going to be the same at pretty much any bricks and mortar or online photo printing site?

We use Walmart more often than anywhere else.

Just hop online, upload the pic, set it to print out with in store pickup and no shipping or anything.

Well, Adorama sells high end and consumer photo gear. Their print service also offers color profiles, allowing you to fix your own digital prints and get more consistent results. CVS (and pretty much all pharmacy) photo technicians probably don't even know what color profiles are for.

Having said that, I've never used Adorama. I've used ImageStation (which is now closed), which was good enough for me. I occasionally use pharmacies for one-off prints, but the quality has varied significantly.
