I read the review about that i815 motherboard and I am interesting in buying one! Although a quick price search revealed nobody currently selling it. The article failed to mention when it was coming out or where to get it currently. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I think it's not slated for release in North America or Europe until the third week of this month. That's only what I've read though, and I could be wrong.:)

I am guessing between $160 up to $185 dollars initially. It will probably go down to like $140 when the price gouging stops.

The thinner PCI slots concern me, and I hate onboard sound. Hope there are other configurations available, like they did with their P2B & P3B lines.

I believe there are versions without onboard sound(albeit, i think its on the chipset, so these variants merely lack the connectors for them)..

either way, you can disable the onboard sound.

Midnight only one of the PCI slots is actually thinner (the 6th one) look at the pics of the board and why would that matter (i had questioned before why the were so big)
one of the CNR slots is also smaller but same thing why do they have to be sooo big?
