Where to get that little USB cable for transferring pics off a digicam?

After moving, I can't find the one for my Kodak (DC4800...bought thanks to that Hot Deals deal about 2yrs ago) and I have like 100 pics I need to get off the thing...it's almost full.

can u transfer the pix via a usb card reader? or are the pix stored on the camera's internal memory?

Oh, and no card reader either. If I have to buy something I'll get the cable and do the direct downloads off the card via the Kodak software.

I got the one for my A40 for like $8 plus $4 shipping.

if u had a usb card reader, u won't have to keep the camera on while transferring pix... helps a little with battery life.

spanky: well, I usually keep it charged up. I take a lot of pics...run the battery down and charge it back up.

You use their software? I guess you aren't hardcore.

Works for me. Even at 128 images it's no more than, say, a minute to transfer the pics.

After that, I use whatever other software I want to. 😉

Where are you located?
I used to have Kodak 3600 camera.
I ran over my camera last month with my car accidently, so I won't need the cable anymore.. I'm guessing it's the same cable.
