Where to get QUALITY iPhone parts?

A coworker needs me to fix an iPhone 3GS with a broken LCD (not the glass, the display itself).

I see lots of affordable screens from Amazon sellers, but user reviews are mixed. Some say everything was perfect. Others report getting screens that are DOA (though I don't trust that they didn't mess it up when installing). Still other user reviews report dead pixels or poor color.

I suspect Apple's LCD manufacturer bin-sorts them. If so, the affordable iPhone parts would all be from the "reject" bin.

How can I make sure I'm not getting a bin-sorted reject LCD part? I'm willing to pay more to ensure that I'm getting a quality part (equal to what Apple's own repair technicians would use).

Thanks, all!

The highest priced and highest quality ones are from ifixit and powerbookmedic. They will run you about $50-60 though. If you go for something around $30 you should be ok.
