If someone wants to build a computer for a friend, how do we know he's telling the truth when he says the client wants to game on it? That's hearsay.

Hell, almost *every single* thread in L&R, where even you participate alchy, involves hearsay. However, you choose to select me in a random off-topic thread, and begin accusing me of hearsay. I figure this mostly has to do with the fact that you don't really agree with my opinions, and are grasping at straws to pick anything with which to demean me.

Wow...I typoed. Thanks don't need to grasp at straws though...

by the way your girlfriend is about the same age as this chick right?

Yeah she's real young. You can mention her age, however I choose not to as it would further sidetrack an already sidetracked thread. Members here were comfortable undressing her with their eyes as long as they didn't know their age. Really displays the hypocrisy of some of the members here. I wish she was older, I really do. But I'm happy with her, and there's no way I'd give up what we have now over a number. I simply wait it out.

I didn't meant to appear as grasping at straws, as I also discussed what I believed you had said, which was "hearsay" as KT corrected me as well on.

Me helping this girl has nothing to do with my GF. Again, I dont have any attraction to this girl. My GF is the only young girl I have a romantic attraction to.

Why do you, as an 18 year old male, have a girlfriend who is that much younger than you?

There's DEFINITELY something...odd about that, as well as probably highly illegal...
Maybe this thread should be forwarded to Chris Hanson...

Dude, are you afraid of "grown-up grrrls?"

With a response like that I think I'd take the advice of an average 18 year old over yours.

As for the OP, start with parents. If they wont or cant see it, I'd suggest a high school staff member.
At that age she is more likely to listen to friends, so if you can talk the them you may get some support. The downside is they will likely fight you and then report back to her immediately, but at least that gets the situation out in the open.

I met her and fell in love with her before I knew how old she was. I couldn't get rid of her over the number. And this relationship has meant more to me than anything.

BTW, she's older than the girl we're talking about here, but still young.

Your profile says you're in Jaw-Ja, and the age of consent there is probably...8 or so, so I guess it's legal...but creepy.

you realize that an 18yo dating a 14yo is a senior in HS dateing a freshmen in HS, that happenes every day in this country and there is NOTHING odd about that

you guys bitch about the stupidest fucking crap

he wants advice on how to help someone and you rip him apart because the person he wants to help happens to be 14

So you don't understand the problem of a 18 year old 'stranger' trying to be a vehicle for medical advice to a 14 yo?

because there is no problim

would a 25 year old being the vehicle be any different or say a 15 year old? the age of the person trying to help doesnt matter, and from reading this they know each other

Yeah, a 14 year-old and an 18-year-old dating isn't weird when it happens in high school. It is strange when the relationship exists almost exclusively online, when the couple has only actually seen each other once (on some two week getaway), and when the OP is regularly talking with people who are four years younger!

As judgmental as Anandtech is, I can't help but side with the majority here in saying that this situation is very strange.

109 lbs is fine. Get concerned if she's under 105. Seriously. I think amongst caucasians thats on the light side, but I can name so many Asians in our HS who were under 109.

But the eating habits definitely are strange. If you're eating moderately and 109 but appearing very skinny, that's fine, but what she's doing sounds extreme. Parents, counselor. I'm sure teh school can be resourceful.

on a serious note as someone who has had an anorexic GF, if talking to a counselor and such doesnt work you really cant do much untill she dops low enough to be hospitilized, they honestly just wont do anything, my ex who was 5'4" didnt get put in a treatment center till she droped to 84 lbs

getting her help ASAP is a good idea, especially if the caffeen pills thing is true,

Most seniors are 17 or younger, although the 'happenes' may explain 'someting'

Just to get some things straight...a chick can look hot at a MUCH earlier age than you show approach them. The men in the forum know this, the boys look at it as opportunity.

One day that opportunity will mature and learn it made the wrong choice 9/10 times.
