Ah yes, see that's where I got the link I posted. However, actually buying the stuff is another thing.

Does anyone know of an actual store in the LA area that sells Marmite? Gracias.

My point was to keep looking. Good friggin lord. From this link:

http://www.google.com/search?h...;q=marmite+%2Bpurchase

I got this as the FIRST RETURN:

https://secure5.nexternal.com/...Easp&ProductID=680

Where you can purchase and have it shipped to you.

Dude, you seem like a pretty angry guy. Thanks for your help though. Have a great day!

I bought a bottle of HP curry sauce at my local supermarket, if they have the hp sauce, they might have this too. I will check it out for you next time I do my grocery shopping. 😉

I'm American but I enjoy A nice cup of Earl Grey with milk and sugar and buttered wheat toast with Marmite.

does that make me culturally British?

😛

From the FAQ:
Marmite is dark brown-colored savory spread made from the yeast that is a by-product of the brewing industry. It has a very strong, slightly salty flavor. It is definitely a love-it-or-hate-it type of food.
Turn off the lights and tell her that you have a jar of it in your pants.

Nah, not angry. I have little bursts of frustration, really. I get easily frustrated with people who refuse to do anything and require others to do the work for them. I get really frustrated with stupid people. Not ignorant or unlearned, just plain stupid people -like people with no common sense. Sorry if I was too harsh. I haven't taken my mydol today 😛

No, it means your taste buds have been destroyed.

I dunno, but that makes you a little more refined. 🙂 Earl Grey is awesome tea.

No, it just makes you crazy, and probably devoid of taste buds.

It's probably the cigars. 🙁

What do I do with it?
The most common use is as a spread on toast or in sandwiches. Note: it is generally spread very thinly because of its strong flavor?don't use it like jam. It has drug-like qualities; the more you eat, the thicker you need to spread it to get the same mouth-burning effect. Some people have even called it addictive.
It is also delicious spread on hot buttered crumpets or ryvita crackers. A pregnant fan has reported a love for Marmite and bananas.
Phil Johnson's favorite way to eat it is thinly-spread on rye toast with slices of sharp cheddar cheese. Very satisfying.
