Hi all,
I would like to create 2 infographics on the topics:

1. The Best 5 Tablets (Globally or USA only)
2. The Best 5 Smart Phones

Reviews would be based on popularity, performance, price, etc.

But I have a problem: various review sites provide me with various data.

For example, some give TOP1 to Apple iPad 2, while others to Android, etc etc etc.

Google is not helpful at all too as it shows some crappy pages.

Where would I get the most reliable, accurate and objective data (maybe some consumer research)
on this topic so I could use it for my infographics creation?

Big big thanks in advance

I'm uncertain how you'd find exactly what you're looking for, but our own front page tends to have graphs on the performance of a lot of current devices when they review one.

For example:

Generally, each generation of high end phones will have 2-3 SoC choices (e.g. Exynos vs Snapdragon) and will all perform fairly similarly. The big differences will be in battery life, screen quality, camera performance, and material design, which are subjective measures to some degree.

Are you interested in older devices, or just current ones?

Hi Yuriman,

thanks for reply.
I'm interested in modern devices.
Nice graphs. How did you build these graphs and where did you take data from?

I would also like to get some average benchmark taken from all tests together defining what the best 10 devices are. Is it possible?

Sorry, English is not my native language, I hope you understand me.

How about Engadget's reviews section (aka Gdgt from back in the day)?

http://www.engadget.com/reviews/

It aggregates device reviews in the same way something like Metacritic does. Not that review scores alone dictate the qualify of a product, but it'll give you a good sense of what's up top.
