Where to get Command Line Client

Ive looked all over and it seems im going in a big loop. Where can I get the command line client for Windows 98.

Assuming you mean for SETI@Home:

Go there, scroll down about half-way, and look for i386-winnt-cmdline.exe: <-- This IS what you'll want - it works fine in Win9x/NT/2000.

FYI, in the FAQ under Security at the SETI@Home website:

"The client/screensaver is available for download only from this web page - we do not support SETI@home software obtained elsewhere."

Now, maybe they need to update their FAQ, but I just wanted to point this out.

Do you think I ought to remove the link I created? I have already but I could put it back. I got it from some of our help threads.

Of course, S@H also says WUs stay with the team when someone leaves and we know that is not correct either. :Q

Yes, duhhhh sorry it helps if I include that I am looking for Seti <smacking self in head>.

Well guess what I just discovered! The link from cdrom IS the same link that you get when you go to Seti@Home.

So KouklatheCat, this is the easiest thing I can setup for you. Click on it and you will immediately be asked if you want to run it or save it to disk. Save it to your Seti@Home folder.
