Where to get a digital scale

I'm sure you'll have seen through this. My friends bro wants to start doing something and he needs to find a digital scale. Where do you go to get a small digital scale that weights grams? We tried Home Depot, a few health food stores, Radio Shack.. Where would one go?

Go to Office Depot or Staples and get their Pelouze postal scale. I use it for weighing coffee for roasting, ingredients for wine and beer making, and a few other random things. It has sensitivity to 1 gram, and it automatically tares as well. It's like $30 I think....

Fixed.

edit: funny it's "his friend" but then "we" went looking. 😛

dont get one of these, i got one a while back for when i did things and it was a waste. Check out a headshop but be prepared to pay good money for a nice digital one. The hanging ones are good and alot cheaper.

oh and tell your 'brother' to store said scale away from what he's weighing if he's smart.

That way if he gets a visit from the local constable he can't be charged with intent to sell?

Why was it a waste? I'm not familiar with your particular application, but the scale works perfectly.

If you choose to admonish something you should always provide your reason.

Well, my friends brother, my friend, and I. we hang out. Thus, 'we' went looking. I like my job, my freedom, and my brain cells, thanks. Not a doper, not a wannabe drug dealer.

However, thanks for the ideas folks. And the reason we didnt go to the head shop is cause of the price.

umm look online? my friend jsut bought a scale (for the exact same purpose) for like 30 bucks online. Just search google for digital scales and bingo tons of sites.

I actually use my postal scale to weigh junk mail postage paid envelopes so I can mail them back as close to an ounce as possible, therefore costing them the max amount possible.
