Where to find the best pizza in the country?

best from my experiences is zachary's in berkeley/oakland, deep dish chicago style. costs as much as a steak house though

And no good pizza places in Colorado. 🙁 I guess on a list of 25, there's less than a 50% chance of any given state appearing, but still.

In Manhattan, dodge the mediocre dollar-slice options and splurge for a $4 slice at Artichoke Basille’s in the Village. Hop over to Brooklyn for the borough’s new favorite, Emmy Squared, or the tried-and-true Roberta’s in Bushwick. And Grimaldi’s, by the Brooklyn Bridge, has connections to the very first pizzeria in the states.

New Haven-style pizza has really grown on me lately.

OP, I don't believe in pizza perfection, only continually striving for perfection. Pizza has too many variables, such as:

1. The style of pizza (there's like 20+)
2. What you order on it
3. Who's cooking that day, and if they did proper prep & are on the ball
4. What you're in the mood for, and how hungry you are

I can enjoy Frank Pepe's just as much as a Little Caeser's $5 special.
 
The good thing is there's almost no bad pizza.

I can only think of once in my life where a bunch of burnt cheese was under a wood fired pizza and I sent it back.
