Well, you could do Quicktime Alternative.

There's a link at the quicktime page to NOT get itunes. Just have to look for it.

Click on Download
Click on Quicktime Standalone Installer
Click Download Quicktime

I like Quicktime Alternative. It's the quicktime codecs w/o the system raping that usually comes with quicktime. There's also Real Alternative that works well too.

I couldn't find the standalone verion on apple's site last night either. Ended up dl'ing QTAlternative. Oh well, I like QTA better anyways.
