I need to re-install the OS on my new laptop, but there was no disk - all I have is the key. I don't wanna download a cracked torrent, so where do I get a legit version that will actually make use of my key?

I don't know of such a place. Odds are you have either a program on the laptop that will let you create a restore DVD or a hidden partition which you can access via boot to restore the OS.

I don't wanna recover with all the manufacturer's bloatware though. 🙁

Google produced nothing.

Google is your friend

I'm not certain, but I don't think such comments are allowed. I may just be confused because I'm used to seeing such threads in the technical sections. 😉

But either way, not helpful!

Second result on Google, and I've used the ISOs (legally) myself:
