That isn't true, but anyhow I have heard to just flush it in the toilet also. Obviously if you're spending five days and driving all over the place you've put in too much effort already.Originally posted by: cornbread
usually when i change my fluid i flush the system out pretty good so there's too much mess to bother with trying to collect it - i just let it run down the driveway into the street.
there's enough water mixed in there to keep it from killing any animals anyways

Correct. Don't pour outside or mix in oil etc... If you can;t find a place easy to take it, then pour in toilet or sink that gets it water processed.
Also with most cars 1-3 gallons of coolant is what is in your engine.
